Assessment Evaluation
Each client is required to receive an official
Intake Assessment Evaluation Interview prior to enrolling in any
program. Evaluations will consist of a 45 min interview. Assessment
Evaluations must be scheduled in advance by contacting your nearest
office by phone
All information on arrest must be brought to
interview.
Driving while under the influence (DUI) and the
use of other illegal drugs is a serious offence. In order to satisfy
the state of Maryland, a DWI/DUI or drug offender must enroll into a
program specifically designed to educate or treat alcohol or drug
abuse. Our program at the Family Health Center is certified by the
Department of Health And Mental Hygiene and by the
Motor Vehicle Administration
This program consists of twelve (12) weekly one
(1) hour sessions of drug and alcohol education. An accelerated
education program is available and can be arranged with the clinic.
Evaluations must be scheduled in advance by contacting your nearest
office.
This intensive counseling segment consists of
twenty six (26) weekly one (1) hour sessions. All clients are
required to provide verification of their attendance to a MINIMUM of
two (2)
AA/NA meetings per week. Evaluations must be scheduled by
contacting your nearest office.
Absences
You are subject to termination from the
program, with notification to the Court, after three (3) unexcused
absences. Client should give at least 24 hours notice of impending
absence. Messages may be left at the Center by telephoning the
clinic. Clients who have missed a session must call the clinic to
schedule a make-up.
Abstinence
All clients are required to remain abstinent
while in the program, no exceptions. Any client, who fails to do so,
will be terminated from the program or placed on a supervised
regiment for the remainder of the program.
Drug Screening
The Family Health Center reserves the right to
give random alcohol breathalyzer and urine drug screening tests at
any time throughout the program. Refusal to submit, or an attempt to
tamper with the exam will result in immediate termination from the
program with notification to the Court.
Tardiness
Any client who arrives more than fifteen (10)
minutes late for their session will not be allowed entrance and
considered absent.
AA/NA Attendance
All clients are required to provide
verification of their attendance to a MINIMUM of two (2)
AA/NA meetings per week, if agreed as part of the client’s
treatment plan.
