The Family Health Center Considers that the goal of treatment is to reincorporate an individual to a productive functioning environment such as in the family, workplace and community. The Family Health Center provides treatment for both mental health and substance abuse. These treatments are successful as treatments for other chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.

There are many addictive drugs as well as treatments for specific drug problems. Treatments vary depending on the individuals' situation. People who are addicted come from all walks of life. Many suffer from mental health, occupational or social problems that make their addictive disorders complicated. The Family Health Center will use a variety of scientifically proven approaches to addiction treatment. Treatment can include behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy, 12-Step model or psycho-therapy, or a combination.
